September 25, 2023 – Mocha Company, the project proponent, and a leading company in sustainable solutions, hosted the first Local Stakeholder Consultation (LSC) on September 20, 2023, at GS Tower in Gangnam, Seoul. The event centered around their groundbreaking initiative, the “Issuance of Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) through EV Charging Activities” known as the “HIVE EV Charging Project”, currently listed in Verra’s VCS Program Registry, Project ID: 4426.
Attended by over 20 participants (EV owners and Charge Point Operators), the LSC provided a platform to introduce emission reduction strategies leveraging EV charging infrastructure. Discussions also covered intricacies of VCU issuance and monitoring of emission reduction performance, engaging participants in a dynamic Q&A session.

Participants gained valuable insights into the VCM market, recognizing its pivotal role in driving environmental stewardship and sustainable development.

The registration as a grouped project marks a significant step towards accelerating EV infrastructure investment and expanding the reach of emission reduction efforts within the domestic market.
